Ride-hailing apps such as Ola, Uber and Rapido faced sporadic disruption on Saturday as drivers staged a partial strike in several cities. The Telangana Gig and Platform Workers Union called the “breakdown” to protest rules and practices of app-based transport firms. The union demanded minimum base fares and regulatory changes.
